It’s either a feast or a famine around here. I’m busy working on the cookbook but I intend to have a new recipe for you by Saturday at the latest.
In the meantime, “Farm To Fork” is something that is obviously close to my heart. If you haven’t guessed by now, I’m passionate about knowing where your food comes from. In our house that means that we grow as much of our own food as possible, and of course keeping the pigs!
The EU Commission are hosting the “Food For Thought” Theatre at Taste of Dublin this weekend where Catherine Fulvio will be demonstrating some simple recipes and talking about what Farm To Fork means to her. This will be an opportunity to see how the EU protects the food chain, which is quite topical at the moment so I’ll have a number of questions for them myself.
To celebrate the “Food for Thought” Theatre, they have offered one lucky reader a pair of tickets to the Taste of Dublin Festival this weekend.
To enter, you need to go to my Facebook page and visit the “apps” tab. There’s a very simple question to answer. Promise!
Best of luck & you’ll find the Terms & Conditions over there.
The EU’s Farm To Fork Initiative have invited me to visit Taste of Dublin as their guest to discuss this topic further. They have also offered the pair of tickets to my readers as a prize. My opinions remain my own and I will report back next week. This I think is going to be a very interesting conversation!
