1. My babies were always in a popper vest (or onesie, as they’re called here). Perfect first layer and nappy-remover-preventer.

Maybe I need an apron to help with my (sadly lacking) air of authority.

You should add a rolling pin to complete the initimidating look ;-) Although it might frighten your baby!
    I’m really liking ‘The Hit’….

    • So am I actually and I thought I wouldn’t be that pushed. Can’t wait to report from behind the scenes on Friday! The rolling pin is in a high up place to stop the lads lamping one another with it!

Oh my goodness you sound just like me!!A friend of mine calls my aprons my coat of armor as it is put on every day.All your missing is the rollers under the head scarf!I love reading your blog I think it is wonderful, you are an inspiration to all mums well done+keep up the excellent work.

haha! I love what you said about your apron. I don’t have kids yet, but I do stand with my hands on my hips when my husband steals a cookie/ brownie/ insert baked good here when he shouldn’t!

My children think it’s normal to wear odd socks, I can’t ever find a matching pair. But I have a plan! I’m going to throw out every single child’s sock and buy 30 pairs of the exact same ones!

Lovely post… so glad I am not the only one with the odd sock issue. I have a basket full of them… some strange phenomenon akin to a black hole or something I think. Trying to get the family to just wear odd ones but they not all that keen… which does not fit their general “throw anything on” attitude to rest of their wardrobe.

Love the idea of buying identical ones!

Enjoy your busy week! Looking forward to hearing all about it in future blogs ;0)
