Bloom 2014 In Review
I was going through my camera files the other day and realised I had some lovely pictures that I wanted to share but never got around to it. As I’m part of The Sodshow* team, we spent an awful lot of time at Bloom 2014. I had the camera in hand most of the time and snapped when I got the chance.
Bloom In The Park is a massive garden festival with a food twist because Bord Bia are the organisers so while there are show gardens, there is also a chance to check out Irish food, listen to great music, chat with like-minded people, and overall it’s a good family day out.
You can click this audio to listen to an interview Peter and I recorded with Emma Walls of Glenisk on one of the days. It was one of our most popular podcasts last year and it’s easy to hear why!
To see my favourite images from Bloom 2014, click below to browse the gallery. Bloom will return this June Bank Holiday weekend (at the time of publishing there were 49 days to go), and I’m really looking forward to this year to see what’s on offer!
*For those of you not familiar with The Sodshow – it’s Ireland’s only garden radio show, and we air on Dublin City FM (103.2FM) every Friday at 3pm.
Being part of the team, means that I received press accreditation for Bloom 2014 to cover the event on behalf of The Sodshow, however I am under no obligation to comment, share or endorse Bloom In The Park on my personal blog.
