Today, Friday 6th October, is National Potato Day and Potato.ie aka “Potatoes More Than A Bit On The Side” have asked me to come up with another potato recipe to celebrate! Since I started working outside of the home, my love for my slow cooker has increased. It has saved my bacon so many times in the past few months. I’ve always loved having one, using one, cooking food in a slow way. Wednesdays in particular are my downfall. A Week Of Dinners – Séan O’Rourke Special
Séan O’Rourke and his team very kindly invited me in to RTÉ Radio One this morning to chat about my love for cooking for my family, and my best friend the slow cooker. 😉 Here are all the recipes that we’ll be eating at home here in the week ahead (all going according to plan). Okay, okay if it doesn’t go according to plan then that’s life. My biggest problem is now that I’ve committed the menu to writing for the week ahead I’ve a 17-year-old who will hold me to it.
