The Next Step

It’ll come as no surprise to some of my readers that I have been working on something bigger than this blog; the next step if you will. I’ve always said that if the blog made a difference to just 1 person then the website was worthwhile. When I started Wholesome Ireland just over a year ago that was my mantra. I repeated it to myself a lot in the early days.

Lately though I’ve not had to repeat it to myself. It’s become clear from comments I’ve been receiving, the number of readers and feedback in other forms that people do want to read and hear what I have to say.

So I have agreed a book deal. A real, hold in your hand book.

There is still an awful lot of work to be done to get it to print early next year. I’ve a great publisher who is just as excited about the prospect as I am. I will be mental extremely busy for the next couple of months as I pull everything together so there will be some small changes here on the blog. I’ll still be blogging, just a little less often, and I’ve lined up some wonderful guestposts for you to read as well.

Thank you for reading, responding, listening, mailing, chatting and letting me know how you’re getting on with my recipes and budgeting challenges. Thank you to those special people (you know who you are) who have had my corner, egging me on and encouraging me to strive to do more.

Above all, thank you for believing in me.

There is far more to come.

CaĂtrĂona.

I'm an Irish mother to 2 boys, born & bred in Dublin, Ireland. I like to cook simple & fresh food for the family, with the family on a budget.
